Hypalon fabric consists of four layers of calendered sheets offering guaranteed air retention (no porosity) and optimal adhesion to rubber. This combination of material provides improved resistance against fading and aging due to weather, as well as resistance to fuel, oil and everyday abrasion. The tubes are bonded using a three-layer gluing process with all seams internally and externally butted for maximum reliability.
Hypalon has set the standard in inflatable boats for over 50 years. This is a four step calendered process using neoprene for internal air retention, high tensile polyester for the base cloth, an external neoprene coating and then a final coating of ultraviolet and abrasion resistant Hypalon.

Polyurethane is the strongest air-retaining material available, and stands up in even the most demanding situations. The fabric consists of three layers. Two layers of extruded elastomer 100% urethane flm are sandwiched around
and chemically-mechanically bonded to a center layer of high tenacity, tightly woven 14 oz per yard nylon fabric.
It takes 200 pounds of pressure with a modifed screwdriver to puncture this fabric.
