* Reinforced elastomer skin
EVA foam filled fenders have a nylon filament reinforced polyurethane skin which has excellent resistance to water,oil, ice, strong sunlight and abrasive surfaces. It remains flexible even at -40°C (-40°F) making it suitable for Tropical or Arctic operations.
* Energy absorbing
The EVA foam filled fender absorbs impact energy so colliding vessels will not damage the buoy or themselves.
* Unsinkable foam
Only closed-cell foams are used in EVA foam filled fenders. The micro-bubble matrix of the foam means it does not absorb water even if cut or damaged. This makes EVA foam filled fenders impossible to sink.

The manufacturing process of Foam Filled Fenders allows for any size to be constructed and selecting approperiate grade of foam core and elastomeric skin means the performance of a Foam Filled Fender can be precisely gauged to meet specific specification requirements.
Foam Filled Fenders are able to absorb 40% more energy than similar sized pneumatic fenders and their gently sloping reaction force curve provides 'softer' docking operations compared to buckling type fendering systems. This results in reduced stresses on docks, wharves, piers and vessels.

Hysun Foam Filled Fender is a kind of constructive fender with polyurea material as its outer protective layer and EVA foam core forming the resillient inner part. The Luhang Foam Filled Fenders are constructed of 3 parts, each providing an important function in the construction and lifespan of the fender. The 3 parts are (1) the closed cell EVA foam (2) the outer rubber+nylon cord fabric (3) polyurea spraying coat.
